NARRATIVE: EPISODE SYNOPSIS

Episode 1:
After British intelligence and the US CIA find Intel of a potential bomb maker in LA, both the British and US work together to recover a hard drive of information related to a bioweapon and to capture the bomb maker. Not all goes to plan when an agent winds up dead and the hard drive goes missing…

Episode 2:
After his death, Alex Hawkins learns the truth of her husband and is forced to live in the US, having to tackle the grief of Daniel Hawkins and keep the truth from her son Matthew as he grows up in an unfamiliar country in North Carolina.

Episode 3:
Forward in time 13 years later, Matthew Hawkins still believes that his father died in a car crash and is therefore motivated to get his US Citizenship and join the US police force. Matthew goes through the struggle of the police academy to finally become a fully-fledged officer, a difficult task for someone born outside of the US.

Episode 4:
After arresting a gang member wanted by the detective's team for months on end, Matthew gets thrown into the biggest shock of his life as he finds it's linked to the car crash of his father and is determined to know what the link is.

Episode 5:
When Matthew teams up with the detective team, he starts to uncover more clues about his father's death. When going back to the scene of the accident that occurred 13 years before, they uncover new evidence during an encounter with the bomb makers son who is determined to recover the evidence for himself.

Episode 6:
After a gunfight with the bomb makers son, David William JR, he escapes with the evidence and Matthew starts a manhunt to find and locate the evidence before it’s too late.

Episode 7:
After being always one step ahead, David William JR’s hiding place has been found by the team. When the location is raided, not only does William’s manage to escape with a warning to Matthew but the team find a shocking truth to what William’s was actually up to.

Episode 8:
After finding a bioweapons lab in the industrial estate and the missing evidence at the cost of David William escaping again, the CIA get involved to take over the investigation; much to the disapproval of the detective team.

Episode 9:
After finding so many clues to his father's death, Matthew is certain that there is more to his death than meets the eye and is determined to hunt down answers to a life long mystery, even if it means going against CIA with no resources, no backup and no plan B.

Episode 10:
After capturing Cameron Blue; the right-hand man to David William JR, in an apartment during a drugs raid the CIA step in to take action against the team convinced it was no coincidence that Mr Blue was found.

Episode 11:
Matthew and the team find themselves suspended without a badge or gun and on the verge of giving up. CIA receive forensics report from the weapons lab that David William JR had been experimenting with explosives and toxicants,  the same substances used in a bombing in North Carolina at his mother’s residence?.

Episode 12:
After the death of his mother, Matthew finds himself with mixed emotions as he is motivated to find the one responsible for the bombing of his home. The CIA steps in and offers Matthew a chance to bring down Williams once and for all. Matthew also finds out the truth behind his family friend; Tasha Hill.

Episode 13:
David William JR has been located by the CIA. The new CIA team begin a surveillance operation on Williams and what he has plans to do next with a possible biological weapon threat on the rise.

Episode 14:
When David William JR’s bioweapon exchange goes wrong, the CIA get involved to end the worldwide threat and bring in William’s.

Episode 15:
After Williams disappears once more, CIA tracks him into the City of Berlin. The team get pinned down and is up to Matthew to stop Williams before a worldwide catastrophe begins.

Episode 16:
After cornering Williams on an apartment rooftop, it's up to Matthew to make sure the bioweapon doesn’t get used and Williams doesn’t get away, despite no weapons, no backup and his life on the line. Can he stall long enough for the CIA team to arrive?

Episode 17:
With Mr Blue in custody and Williams deceased, Matthew needs to deal with the traumatic experience of what he has witnessed before the operation in Germany ended and the mourning of his mother as he goes back to England for her funeral.

Episode 18:
Six months after the events of Germany Matthew is back in the US and is called in to find exactly the answers he was looking for on his father as well as given his fathers unfinished project; The Directive 51 Initiative.
